My Lovely Sam Soon Synopsis
January 7, 2006Episode 3
Jin-hun asks Sam-soon to pretend to go out with him to deceive his mother. Sam-soon’s big sister, Yi-young, returns home, divorced. Sam-soon’s friend Chae-ri comes to Jin-hun’s restaurant to plan her engagement party, and it turns out her fiance is Hyun-woo, Sam-soon’s ex-boyfriend.
Episode 4
Jin-hun’s ex-girlfriend, Hee-jin, walks into the restaurant when Sam-soon is alone. Jin-hun goes berserk at the mention of Hee-jin’s name, but later apologizes to Sam-soon with flowers. Hee-jin and Jin-hun finally meet, but Hee-jin finds Jin-hun is still furious with her.
Episode 5
Sam-soon takes a drunken Jin-hun back to his apartment where she is “trapped” until the next morning. Hee-jin walks in on them the next morning. Yi-young goes to Jin-hun’s restaurant to find out where Sam-soon has been the night before and gets into an argument with Hyun-moo, the executive chef.
Episode 6
Sam-soon bakes a beautiful engagement cake for her ex and Chae-ri’s engagement party and tearfully watches the ceremony. Jin-hun finds Sam-soon drinking alone at the restaurant after work and offers to give her a piano lesson. The two have a heart-to-heart talk and get a little drunk.
Episode 7
Jin-hun and Sam-soon arrive at Jeju to attend the grand opening ceremony of Jin-hun’s family’s hotel. Hyun-woo and Chae-ri are also there, and Jin-hun and Hyun-woo get into a fistfight over Sam-soon.
Episode 8
Sam-soon is worried when Jin-hun doesn’t call or come to work after coming back from Jeju. In the meantime, Jin-hun is with Hee-jin at the hospital, getting her regular checkup. Yi-young tries to stop Sam-soon from seeing Jin-hun.
Episode 9
Ms. Nah (Jin-hun’s mother) uses Sam-soon to get Hee-jin away from Jin-hun. Sam-soon turns in her resignation and Jin-hun tries to stop her but fails. Suspicious of Sam-soon’s sobbing, Sam-soon’s mother questions Yi-young and finds out Sam-soon was in a contract relationship with her boss.
Episode 10
Sam-soon’s mother finally gives permission for Sam-soon’s name change. Sam-soon files for a name change and heads to her blind date. Chae-ri sees her on a blind date and calls Jin-hun. Jin-hun rushes over to where Sam-soon is on a blind date.
Episode 11
Sam-soon can’t believe two men, Jin-hun and Hyun-woo, are fighting over her. She sends Jin-hun away. Angry, Jin-hun tries to get rid of the stuffed pig, but just can’t get rid of it. Sam-soon goes on a diet, but finds it very difficult to stay on it.
Episode 12
Jin-hun finally professes his love for Sam-soon, but Yi-young is against their relationship. Hee-jin notices changes in Jin-hun and suspects he’s in love with Sam-soon. Jin-hun can’t bring himself to break up with Hee-jin. Hee-jin pleads with Sam-soon to let Jin-hun go, but Sam-soon turns her down.
Episode 13
Sam-soon is surprised and moved to find Jin-hun at the top of Mount Halla. Jin-hun even brought her seaweed soup for her birthday. The two get into yet another argument about Sam-soon legally changing her name. Hee-jin is worried when she can’t get in touch with Jin-hun.
Episode 14
Hee-jin is devastated by the breakup. Sam-soon and Jin-hun spend a day doing all the things Sam-soon wanted to do when she finds a boyfriend. For the final item on her list, Jin-hun goes to meet Sam-soon’s family, but Sam-soon’s mother isn’t pleased with him at all.
Episode 15
Sam-soon is dumbfounded when she sees Jin-hun get off the elevator with Hee-jin. But when she finds out Hee-jin is sick, she makes porridge for her. However, Hee-jin doesn’t appreciate her efforts. Hee-jin decides to go back to America and asks Jin-hun to accompany her.
Episode 16 (Final Episode)
Sam-soon hasn’t heard from Jin-hun in months and she’s heartbroken. She opened her own pastry shop, but business isn’t taking off. Sam-soon runs into her blind date for the third time and the two decide to give dating another try when Jin-hun shows up.

i love the character of kim sam soon,it is very realistic and funny aside from that sam soon is so cute despite of her figure,she’s not that fat infact she’s voluptuos body makes her look sexy,i love hyun bin he really look hot and cute!!!!!

This Korean Drama is hits at Malaysia! Now is showing in our national tv. I never know that this drama are so romantic, full of comedy and passion of love. Sam soon is very cute n chubby. Jin-hiun is very handsome and stylish… Whole story is best!!!!!!!!!

i loooooveeeee KIM SAM SOON!!!! From the moment it aired here in Manila, I know this Koreanovela is different. KIM SAM SOON is such a great character. Women should be empowered like her, to be not afraid to show the real you and show that personality of ours to others who cares if youre so blunt or fat as long as you believe in yourself… Also her sister, so funny!!! She knows what she want and she knows how to handle guys!!!!
I wish I have their guts & confidence.. HYUN BIN is such a Hottie also DANIEL HENNY, wish they show more of their abs…!! Hope theres more Koreanovela like KIM SAM SOON..I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
