Main winners in MBC awards, mostly from My Lovely Sam Soon
“My Lovely Samsoon”, which marked 2005’s highest viewer rating of 50.5 percent among all TV dramas, is the major winner by winning most major awards at the MBC awards on 30th Dec 2005. The awards show almost becomes feature-made for “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” or “My Lovely Sam Soon” drama.

Kim Sun-a, the female lead of the drama, was selected for the Grand Prize out of four candidates, namely Hyun Bin, Han Hye-jin and singer-turned-actor Eric. The four also were awarded the Best Actor or the Best Actress.

Hyun played a high-profile French restaurant owner, three years younger than Samsoon, who falls in love with her. Han portrayed a young widow in her early 20s striving hard as a hairdresser in “Be Strong Geum-soon!’. Eric attracted many female viewers in “Super Rookie”.

Jung Ryeo-won
“Samsoon”, which depicts a 30-year-old patissiere looking for the love of her life and success in her career, dominated the awards with eight prizes. The four main actors and actresses in the soap, including actress Jung Ryeo-won and actor Daniel Henney, went home with at least one prize.

Everyone looks very nice, except Hyun Bin and Daniel Henny. Both of them looks much better in the series, I guess just because the way they dress up on that day…

I am equally crazy over this drama series! In fact, this is the BEST Kdrama I have ever watched. Well done MBC and to our darling babe Kim Sun Ah (Kim Sam Soon). Not forgetting our hunk Hyun Bin (lead actor), you are such a charm! Keep it up!

The series is sooooo good that i cannot stop myself from watching. i watched three times in a month but not getting sick or tired the show is really a sucess.the actor hyun bin is such a charm ……….handsome and young and the actress sam soon is such a beauty. WAH ………..great enjoy the series …..

i’m not a serious k-drama fan, but this series got me glued to the sofa all day!!! i love the script - it’s funny, emotional, full of meaning; the characters are original, and the scenes are unforgettable! hyun bin is such a cutie (heonny… XD), and kim sun-ah did a brilliant job in bringing kim sam-soon’s adorable character to life!! very lovable drama! thumbs up to all casts and crews!! =)

i absolutely fell in love with this korean drama. the main actress who played kim sam-soon did a phenomenal job as well as her boyfriend, played by Hyon bin. i encourage everyone to watch it and maybe you too will fall in love with these characters.

Daniel Henney and Hyun Bin look terrible they looked better during the show. The glasses Daniel is wearing look an awful lot like the ones Jung reo won wore during the show maybe he let her wear them. Can anyone translate the spechees of the award night?

The story is great, I love the character of Kim Sam Soon, I really adore her. She serves an inspiration to me. She always fight for what is right. I love her talaga. My sister and I bought already a DVD, we can’t wait to see the whole story. Cyrus is really handsome,ang cute ng dimples niya. They deserves to be the best actor and actress. I got curious about Kim sun ah, for adding weight for this show, shes a model and she really add 24 pounds for this show.omg!!! Just like renee in bridget jones diary…
this show my lovely samsoon is one of the prettiest show i ever see, aside from full house, lovers in paris.. this too has a on-screen chemistry. i read that sun-ah’s bf got jelous of bin, since they do a lot of kissing scene and even off screen affection. Sun ah is 31 and bin is only 24, bin is single while the other one is committed… so sad… hope they are real lover in person…This story is simple but real, unlike other novels that the characters are unreal and from fantasies. The ending is also simple and no clue.. But honestly ive been waiting for their part 2 soon… 
i love all their characters are in good taste, i hope that the filipino will have the same show, not only for kids… KIM SAM SOON ROCKS!!! I love sun ah and bin

It’s the most unforgettable drama so far. Both the actress and actor are such charming and attractive. I can’t stop watching this drama every night over and over again. This is the 1st time I am watching a Korean drama. I must say the crew and cast did a good job. Kudos to the main actress, Kim Sun A and the main actor, Hyun Bin. I am very tempted to learn Korean to understand their culture, language and people. BTW, I am past 50 so may take some time.

I seldom watch Korea drama/movie. After i watched Lovely Kim Sam Soon, i love to watch about the events of Kim Sun-Ah. It is because this movie is the best movie. Though the story is simple and real. They reflect most girls attitudes and characters. I love both lead actor and actress.
I can’t believe, but respect Kim Sun Ah can do a great job. She is orginally is a model, she increases her weight, no sleep and perfrom this drama so well. It attracts me so much. Even i bought DVD, i watch it many times.
This drama is not same as previous one, they will not have too sexy screen, but prettiest. It is really a successful drama.
Hope there will be a second part of Kim Sam Soon. We are waiting for Hybun and Sun-Ah acting together. But we hope she can return to her own beautiful face, slim figure.

I really LUv this korea series My Lovely SamSoon.This is the BEsT korea series I ever see!!!If Other korea series, I din have the feeling want to see again, but this whoo….want to see again & again!! wil Never Boring Wan!!! The story line is so wonderful and so different from other love story.When I see the 1st episod, wah is so BEST!!I never miss one episod oso.BUt its so sad, only 20 episod!so short..When I know this Friday(21/4/06)will finish, I’m so sad…I really like Hyun Bin!!He is so handsome when his hair stand up.& then i oso realized tat he oso very cute when the scene at the mountain. Just loved the series. This is my very first drama I’ve watched. I’m not sure who I’m more in love with. Its 50/50 with Sam Soon and Sam Sik! Thanks for this drama series, I’ve only gotten 2 hours of sleep through the weekend. Watched it all the way through to the very end.

one word..awesome…you see ive only managed to watched one episode of any korean series and then i got bored…but not this one..not this one…this is a story that depicts a story about an ordinary girl that has went through all sorts of harsh in life but little that she knew that she is about to find the greatest love of her life…
a chubby girl(not so chubby in my pov)and talks so directly in every situation with a very handsome and arrogant guy. hopefully there will be a second episode because i want to see them get married..hehe…

kim sam soon was the best tv show of Korea i’ve watched…though im a Filipino,i really do appreciate it…it touches your feelings and can be related to some people…there are lots of lessons that we can get from Kim Sam Soon….did you know that almost all of the watchers here i the Philippines watch this tv show…no wonder Kim Sam Soon was the number Koreanovela in the Philippines….

My Lovely Samsoon. Oh my God I love the show. Im a Filipino but I lived in US. The first time i saw the first episode I got hooked. The story and punch line are brilliant. I watch the show everynight after work and it complete my day. It makes my laugh and think about everything. Kim Sun and Hyun Bin have great chemistry together. But honestly, Hyun Bin is one of main reason why I watch the show. He has a great dimple and cute face. Mahal Kita. Hyun Bin

Love this drama so much that I’ve watched multiple times!! I always like funny dramas with interesting female lead character. Kim Sun Ah has really done a perfect job in portraying her character as Kim Sam Soon!! She’s the best I’ve seen so far!! Looking for her movies: “She’s on Duty”, “S Diary” & “Yesterday”. Can anyone tell me where to find them in S’pore?! Tomorrow, is the last episode of this drama on Channel U. as it concerns myself, i feel like something is missing in mnikss; i think that there was not enough courting by the side of sam soon, i wanted sam soon to get back to work and fighting for jin heon.
although i loved the bathroom scene i think that stuff should have come later.
